Sambucus canadensis

Native shrub; large shrub 6–12 ft. large pinnate leaves; white flowers clustered in a cyme which when pollinated, give way to purple edible and medicinal berries. Blooms June. Prefers full sun and average, well‑drained soil.  Will tolerate wet soil and colonize an area with suckers.
