A 5-Week FREE Workshop Series at the Shearman Street Community Garden!

The Delaware Center for Horticulture, in partnership with University of Delaware Cooperative Extension and EFNEP, is hosting a FREE 5-week “Eating Smart & Moving More” series for families this spring at the Shearman Street Community Garden.
This interactive, hands-on program supports families with young children in building healthy habits through practical nutrition education and simple cooking skills. Participants will learn about: eating healthy on a budget, saving money at the grocery store, food safety, meal planning & preparation, and staying active as a family.
The series will occur every Wednesday: May 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th & June 3rd from 5p.m.-6:30p.m. Participants who complete all 5 workshops in the series will receive a certificate and a cookbook upon completion (please choose the FULL SERIES ticket option to sign-up to attend all of the workshops). Can't attend the full workshop series? You can still sign-up for individual dates in the series to participate.
